The Bressingham launch of Adrian Bloom's new book opens an intensive but enjoyable day for all levels of gardener. The book 'Blooms Best Perennials and Grasses, Expert Choices and Dramatic Combinations for Year Round Gardens', is the theme for the day, starting with an informal lecture by Adrian. Many of those combinations, dependable plants used to dramatic effect can be seen on guided tours of the 17 acres of renowned gardens at Bressingham with Adrian Bloom, Jaime Blake and others. From Alan Bloom's Island Beds to Adrian Bloom's rivers, with around 5000 perennials and grasses on view, these are unique gardens. There will be a debate over an excellent buffet lunch in the Marquee on 'New Plants or Old' - which are best for successful gardening? Why not get your book signed at Bressingham by Adrian Bloom, and buy some new, different and older perennials and grasses from the Bloom's family nursery at Bressingham, managed by Jason Bloom. Finally after a light tea you can ride on some of the steam trains and Victorian carousel before departing. 10.30a.m. Start of day and welcome 11a.m. Adrian Bloom lecture, discussion 12noon.
